Gone are the audition rounds where general members of the public belt out an array of songs in the hope of impressing the judges and becoming the next big thing in the music industry. Instead, they will be replaced by a group of familiar faces who will try and prove to Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger that they can hold a tune longer than a minute.
