%20elements%20is%20a%20crucial%20task%20for%20automatic%20code%20generation%20from%20images%20and%20sketches%2C%20GUI%20testing%2C%20and%20GUI%20search.%20Recent%20studies%20have%20leveraged%20both%20old-fashioned%20and%20modern%20computer%20vision%20(CV)%20techniques.%20Oldfashioned%20methods%20utilize%20classic%20image%20processing%20algorithms%20(e.g.%20edge%20detection%20and%20contour%20detection)%20and%20modern%20methods%20use%20mature%20deep%20learning%20solutions%20for%20general%20object%20detection%20tasks.%20GUI%20element%20detection%2C%20however%2C%20is%20a%20domain-specific%20case%20of%20object%20detection%2C%20in%20which%20objects%20overlap%20more%20often%2C%20and%20are%20located%20very%20close%20to%20each%20other%2C%20plus%20the%20number%20of%20object%20classes%20is%20considerably%20lower%2C%20yet%20there%20are%20more%20objects%20in%20the%20images%20compared%20to%20natural%20images.%20Hence%2C%20the%20studies%20that%20have%20been%20carried%20out%20on%20comparing%20various%20object%20detection%20models%2C%20might%20not%20apply%20to%20GUI%20element%20detection.%20In%20this%20study%2C%20we%20evaluate%20the%20performance%20of%20the%20four%20most%20recent%20successful%20YOLO%20models%20for%20general%20object%20detection%20tasks%20on%20GUI%20element%20detection%20and%20investigate%20their%20accuracy%20performance%20in%20detecting%20various%20GUI%20elements.)
